Trauma-Informed Care

Trauma-informed care is essential in social work — it begins with understanding how trauma impacts individuals and communities. It asks us to approach others with empathy, safety, and respect. What helps people feel seen and supported? This module invites you to explore key principles of trauma-informed practice and how they align with collective healing and cultural values.

This training is designed to support new staff and can be used as part of onboarding or orientation. It also encourages self-directed learning, allowing participants to set their own learning goals and revisit materials at their own pace.
